For the first time in 14 years, I returned to Miami Shores where I grew up, and Coral Gables where my parents later lived. I also visited a friend, Julie Debs, near West Palm Beach.

tracymar > The giant banyan tree in the backyard where my brothers had a tree house. It's about 1/3 of its size now - hurricane damage.

tracymar > What remains of the area between our backyard and the golfcourse. There used to be a dozen orange and lime trees here, and a banana grove.

tracymar > The back corner of Miami Shores Elementary school, where I went to Elementary school. I was terrified of crossing 6th avenue by myself when I was in first grade.
