In late April 2010, I spent five days at the East Mountain Interfaith, Retreat Center, Great Barrington in the Massachusetts. This is the meditation room there.

I was enchanted by Santarella, known as Tyringham's Gingerbread house.
The original colonial home of Santarella was built in the mid18th century. Around 1920, Sir Henry Hudson Kitson, the English sculptor known for the Lexington Minuteman and Plymouth Rock Maiden statues, resided here and transformed the buildings.

Santarella, Tyringham. Kitson created intricate shingling patterns on the exterior of most of Santarella's buildings. There is also a large event room available for weddings and conferences.
